My name is Kristina, I am owner and Denver senior photographer of I Shoot Happy. I will be your personal session photographer. Let me tell you a little bit about myself:
Since I was young, I was always surrounded by great people with passion for photography. I admired their work, breathtaking art of photography. Through the years I learned a lot behind the scenes, and there was always a desire to try it on my own. It took awhile before I finally decided to break the ice, and take a camera in my own hands. Guess what, I love it since! I started my photography as a hobby. Mainly working with models and actors, focusing on portrait and fashion photography. Skills and knowledge in makeup, beauty and fashion fields came really handy. I was also invited to model myself, for portrait photography classes, testing the light, also just for creative fun. That really helped me to understand what it feels like to be in front of the camera. I pay attention to small details, I look for best angles. Even though my main focus is Newborn and Maternity Photography, I still love portrait and fashion photography.
Working with first maternity clients and newborn babies totally fascinated me. There I knew – this is a true passion of mine. That special glow, that only expecting mother have, the stories they tell, excitement of expectation, all that took my photography to a whole new level. I am having a best job anyone could hope for. I feel especially honored when I am chosen to do newborn baby session: these moments are so special and once in a life time! There are no 2 newborns the same, it is amazing to capture their tiny features. Each session is unique, unforgettable. Crafting is another passion of mine – that really helps me to create fun props, to create unique artistic photographs.
I have a true passion for makeup, fashion and beauty. I can help with styling, wardrobe selection as well as posing. My goal is to make anyone look beautiful, feel comfortable, but most important to have fun.
